The story behind 287
What is 287?
287 is the average number of cancer causing chemicals and toxins found in a study of umbilical cords commissions by the Environmental Working Group. That's a statement of fact that affects every one of us and our families.
The Environmental Working Group’s 2005 study is not an isolated incident. Doctors and scientists across the United States are conducting studies on infants and adults to identify harmful chemicals in the bloodstream. So far, hundreds of toxins and carcinogens have been identified, and many of those chemicals, if not most, have been found to come from the personal care and skin care products you might be using. 287 is a number that cannot be ignored. Here are a few more shocking numbers: of those 287, 180 were carcinogenic, 217 can be toxic to the brain and nervous system, and 208 have been known to cause birth defects. Trivani International is committed to providing you with purpose, health and prosperity. Our line of personal care products adheres to a strict Do No Harm Philosophy™. Trivani’s products do not contain a single one of the alarming 287 potentially harmful chemicals and toxins. You can rest assured that our products are 100% free of all known harmful ingredients.
We are turning our thousands of distributors into an army of health advocates. Trivani distributors are spreading the word about potential dangers in your bathroom cabinet and showing you how to do a “quick fix” to your own personal care regime by getting rid of toothpaste, deodorants, shampoos, lotions, etc. that are filled with harsh chemicals and replacing them with natural Trivani products.
One might say the toxic chemical soup in our bloodstream is simply the inevitable result of a life lived in a highly industrialized society. But the shocker is over 300 potentially harmful chemicals have been found in the blood of newborns. An infant’s bloodstream contains the chemical contaminants of society before it even draws breath. Of the chemicals and toxins found in the umbilical cord studies, 209 have never before been detected in cord blood.
Industrial chemicals appear in frighteningly higher levels in children’s blood than in the blood of their parents. With the rapid increase in childhood and adolescent chemical disorders, autism, ADD, ADHD, and asthma, maybe we shouldn’t be surprised. It might be time to take a closer look at what we’re touching, ingesting and putting on our faces and bodies.
These studies are finally making their way into the mainstream media. Recently, on CNN’s Planet in Peril series, host Anderson Cooper had a body burden test done to find out what industrial chemicals were in his blood stream and how high their percentages were. He also spoke with a family who had their young children tested.
